I received this jacket as a gift so I have to keep it. I read some reviews and understand the sizing concerns. I am attaching a photo to give some perspective about the garment's cut and fabric. For reference I am 5' 8" and 125 pounds. I received a size "medium". The fabric is a bit too artificial and felt-like as the amount of wool is only 30%. It feels like the warmth would be appropriate for no less than 40 degree weather. I have a slim build so the shoulders don't feel too tight in a regular stance, but any movement, such as reaching, shows the the tightness of that area by jacking up the already short sleeves by about 4 inches. The coat is a bit "boxy" for lack of a better term though as you can see in the image I uploaded, it does taper at the waist to a slight to degree, just not as much as the one on the model. The jacket is still somewhat flattering, and classic, though it could be much better. The lining looks good, there are no stray threads, and an inside pocket is nice to have. I don't think there would be a size that would work for me. A small would be better for my torso, but it would have 3/4 sleeves (on me)! If you want a jacket in this general style for little money, go for it. If you want a classic pea coat with non-shiny, normal looking woolen fabric that fits and flatters in every way, look elsewhere. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask questions.
